Welcome to the handcrafted world of Classic Outdoor!
I’m Fred Spector, master woodworker and sculptor of elegantly designed outdoor living spaces for over 30 years. Making heirloom-quality, comfortably livable outdoor furniture and decor is more than my business – it’s my passion and creative obsession. I started Classic Outdoor because I dreamed of giving families more than just patio sets for outside…I wanted to create museum-worthy artworks and sanctuary-cozy havens that happen to also be durable open-air furnishings.
Every dining table, lounge chair, bench, lamp, planter and accessory you see in our collections began its life as a unique design sketch before being transformed to reality in our local workshop. My team and I hand select each plank of grade-A teak, cedar and eucalyptus especially for your order, delicately sanding and carving them over days and weeks into functional sculptures destined for generations of gathering, celebrating and relaxing. Every metal fixture and fabric choice follows the same guiding principle – harmonizing beauty, comfort and quality in each detail.
Beyond furnishings, it’s my personal specialty to collaborate one-on-one with homeowners, hospitality managers and architects to re-imagine lackluster patios, decks and pools into Award-winning oases featuring custom layouts, integrated lighting, fine stonework and bespoke designs tailored exactly for the space. I work with you to unite the home and outdoors into a seamless extension of your interior style.
Please explore the collections, wood types, and client reviews on our site, then contact me directly to chat about your vision. Bring me your Pinterest boards, houzz ideas and dreams of the perfect custom grille for your fire pit. Improving life’s simple daily pleasures through artisan craft is not just my business – it’s my bliss, and I can’t wait to share it with you on your next project!
